Saxon Dawn: Devilled English Breakfast Tea
Saxon Dawn: Devilled English Breakfast Tea
Potent yet dependable, Saxon Dawn takes inspiration from England’s earliest archetypal hero: the warrior king, Beowulf. Read the origin story.
Our spin on the classic breakfast brew, Saxon Dawn was created from premium black teas sourced from Kericho in Kenya and Assam in India.
We've added sprinkle of safflower petals to add a hint of deep-red devilry to this old English Breakfast tea. Unlike bolder edible flowers, like rose petals or rose extract, safflower petals have a mellow flavour with subtle notes of nut and sweet chocolate. They give a slightly ruby colour to the finished brew.
