Before Earl Grey there was Old Grey, a wizened druid known to read the future in tea leaves.
Old Grey is an Earl Grey recipe from the before times, combining Sri Lankan Ceylon tea leaves grown at high altitude, a smooth top-grade Keemun tea from China, natural bergamot oil and dried blue cornflowers.
Great with or without milk.

Brewing instructions: 2-3g, 3-5mins, 100°, 200ml
Ingredients: Luxury black tea, cornflower petals, bergamot oil.
Tasting notes: A bold and malty black tea flavour with fragrant floral notes and a hint of citrus. Mild astringency.
Colour: Bright copper.

I really love this blend, it's got a great nose, a deep flavour, and a gorgeous hue once brewed. This is my weekend tea, my I've brewed a pot and I'm savouring it tea.
As a huge fan of earl grey tea I can happily say this takes a normal earl and turns it a notch. Flowery and smokey - my favourite of the teas I purchased - highly recommended.

By far the best Earl Grey tea I've tried, this tastes incredible. The aroma when you open the packet is rich and powerful, with a lovely earthy-ness to it. It looks great too! I know Earl Grey isn't for everyone, but if you are a fan this is well worth a try. This is the second batch I've bought and I will no doubt be coming back for more.
