Curse of Bengali: Diabolical Darjeeling Tea
Curse of Bengali: Diabolical Darjeeling Tea
Our house first-flush darjeeling tea is an exceptional single estate Indian black tea, grown thousands of metres above sea level on the Tukdah estate in Darjeeling, West Bengal.
Known as the champagne of teas, darjeeling tea brews a light amber colour and has a refreshing muscatel flavour that can be drunk throughout the day.
We think darjeeling tea makes a particularly good first step into to the world of craft tea for English Breakfast tea drinkers – it's still a black tea, but has more delicate flavours and less of a malty kick.
